As LMC’s dedicated staff have been working hard throughout this busy season, the firm continued showing our appreciation by offering more curated events last month and opportunities to de-stress. Not only did we have our annual March madness college basketball bracket competition, we hosted new fun events for our team to enjoy and socialize.
Chair Massages and Yoga
As our team reached crunch time in tax season, LMC wanted to offer opportunities to take a moment and de-stress.
Our employees very much enjoyed the massage therapists who took over one of our conference rooms, and gave 15 minute chair massages, over a two day period. The event is very popular, as all appointments were sold out soon after being made available.
A fun new event the firm introduced was a Yoga 101 class, where a licensed yoga instructor, Sarah Franco, Founder of Sagoya Yoga, hosted a live Yoga class for our employees. Our team was able to take a deep breath and rejuvenate.
Stress Ball Scavenger Hunt
A fun in-office competition was setup for staff to locate different color stress balls hidden throughout the office. The winners earned a gift card prize.
Carnival
To continue the fun at LMC, the firm set up our first carnival for our employees to gather, socialize and enjoy a well-deserved break. Our lunch area was decorated and there were fun games of corn hole, arcade basketball, and mini golf. A variety of tasty popcorn was supplied by Shore Sugar Co.
Solar Eclipse
On Monday, April 8th, we experienced the rare phenomenon of a solar eclipse. LMC staff were able to step out on our balcony, with protective eyewear of course, to witness this special occurrence.
We are continuing to expand our team – you can find new roles here.
