LMC Gives Back: Supporting Communities

LMC is proud to have recently supported the organizations Sephardic Community Center (SCC), Sephardic Bikur Holim (SBH), and Long Island Disc Golf (LIDG), as each organization hosted events during August.

On Sunday, August 27th, LMC was proud to sponsor the Sephardic Community Center’s 4th annual Center Court Pro-Am Tennis Tournament. The tournament is an all-day event, whereby the best men and women tennis players in the community have the opportunity to play with professional tennis players in a round of matches.

The center’s mission is to be a cultural, recreational, educational, and social center, dedicated to serving generations of families within the Sephardic community. Programs include those geared toward preschoolers, teens, young adults and seniors.

On Monday, August 28th, LMC was proud to be a hole sponsor as well as a dinner bar sponsor for Sephardic Bikur Holim’s (SBH) 10th Annual Golf Outing at Hollywood Golf Club in Deal, New Jersey.

For over four decades, the SBH mission has been to care for people with compassion, discretion and respect. Guided and inspired by the timeless principals of kindness and charity, SBH works hand-in-hand with a network of devoted volunteers and professionals to address social services needs with a strong commitment to excellence.

Senior Audit Manager, Nick Grgas, and Audit Supervisors Gus Molina, CPA and Ovadia Mosseri, CPA participated as golfers in the tournament on behalf of LMC.

On Saturday, August 26th, LMC was delighted to be a tournament sponsor of the 11th Annual Cedar Beach Classic held by Long Island Disc Golf (LIDG).

The Cedar Beach Classic is an all-day disc golf tournament, featuring pro and amateur players, at Long Island’s first Disc Golf Course. LIDG is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, whose main purpose is to grow the sport of disc golf on Long Island through events such as the Cedar Beach Classic, and their Community Outreach Program. This is the third year that LMC was a proud tournament sponsor.

LMC Senior Audit Manager, Nick Grgas, is the Cedar Beach Classic’s Tournament Director, and former Board Member at LIDG.
