Stephen A. Kepniss, CPA

Stephen A. Kepniss is an Attorney and CPA and has spent more than 35 years advising individuals in their personal and business financial affairs. Mr. Kepniss began his career at the “Big-Eight” accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand. In 1983, Mr. Kepniss joined the firm of Executive Monetary Management, Inc. as Director of Taxes. His clients included prominent attorneys in New York City, successful real estate developers, investment bankers, top executives of Fortune 500 companies, Hedge Fund Managers, Private Equity Partners and owners of closely held businesses. Mr. Kepniss rejoined Coopers & Lybrand and assumed the position as Partner-In-Charge of Personal Financial Services.

Mr. Kepniss graduated Rutgers Law School cum laude and obtained his LLM in Taxation from New York University. He is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has been a member of various professional organizations and estate planning societies. Mr. Kepniss has been invited to lecture before various professional organizations.

Mr. Kepniss left Coopers & Lybrand to become managing partner of Stephen A. Kepniss & Associates, P.C. and continued to develop a diversified and sophisticated tax practice, serving the personal and business needs of various entrepreneurial and high net worth clients.
