LMC is incredibly proud of our outstanding employees for their dedication to both the firm and our clients. This past month, LMC team members took part in the following events:

LMC Holiday Party

On December 3rd, LMC ‘s annual holiday party, themed “A Night of Stars and Spades,” took place at Inside Park at St. Bart’s. The evening featured an awards ceremony, casino games, an open bar with a large selection of beverages, and a full buffet offering delicious appetizers, entrées, and desserts. It was a memorable celebration of teamwork, dedication, and the firm’s accomplishments throughout the year.

LMC Quarterly Renewal

LMC held its fourth Quarterly Renewal meeting on Monday, December 16th, celebrating 2024 achievements and setting exciting goals for 2025. CEO Lee M. Cohen, CPA, and President Thomas Procida, CPA, were joined by key leaders: Maritza Ortiz, LM CFO + CAS Partner; Gary Sozzi, Tax Director & Tax Team Co-Lead; Jonathan Porcelli, Tax Director & Tax Team Co-Lead; and Nick Grgas, Audit Director. Together, they announced department promotions and shared updates on milestones and insights into LMC’s future growth. The event concluded with a lively Family Feud competition between departments, showcasing questions pertaining to the firm and teamwork, camaraderie, and a spirit of friendly competition.

Lee M. Cohen, CPA, Delivers Keynote Address at Accounting Today’s PE Summit

LMC’s CEO, Lee M. Cohen, CPA, spoke at the Accounting Today PE Summit on November 21st, in Chicago. During the Keynote session entitles “What Private Equity Has Done for Us”, Lee discussed private equity’s alignment with accounting, and how PE funding is a viable and exciting growth strategy for accounting firms.

Office Ugly Sweater Party & White Elephant Exchange

The firm’s annual Ugly Sweater Party and White Elephant Gift Exchange on December 19th was a festive success. Team members connected, shared laughter, and enjoyed a celebratory lunch together.

LMC recently held a Monopoly Deal Tournament, showcasing strategic gameplay and team camaraderie. Colleagues enjoyed friendly competition and laughter, making it a fun and engaging event for all who participated.
