by Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC

LMC is very proud to share an exciting announcement! Lee M. Cohen, CPA, Founder and Managing Partner of LMC has been selected as an honoree by Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC (BBBS of NYC) this year! Lee will be celebrated and recognized at BBBS of NYC’s 24th Annual Accountants & Bankers Reception on Wednesday, May 18th 2022.

For two decades the Accountants & Bankers Reception has been held to support BBBS of NYC, raising in excess of $2.5 million for youth mentoring programs. Each year, BBBS of NYC honors industry leaders who have made an impact in the Accounting, Banking, and Retail fields. This year Lee will be honored alongside Blair Ridder, Regional President in New York City at M&T Bank. Honorees have a chance to meet with a “Little”, an NYC youth, and “Big”, a volunteer mentor, who will introduce them at the event.

Lee M. Cohen, CPA was selected by peer nomination from BBBS of NYC’s event committee, which consists of 90 professional executives in the Accounting, Banking and Retail industries. The committee’s criteria for selecting the honorees are well-respected leaders who are community oriented and represent BBBS of NYC’s commitment to igniting youth potential through longer, stronger mentoring relationships.

“I am deeply grateful to be honored by Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, an organization I’ve had the pleasure to support over the years. Their mission and initiatives for the youth in NYC is critical to helping children achieve success, and to be named an honoree this year at their annual Accountants and Bankers reception is an incredible blessing,” said Lee M. Cohen, CPA.

LMC has been a proud supporter of BBBS of NYC since 2013.
