Commemorating a year since the passing of Donald Hecht

It is hard to believe that it has been a year since the passing of our Partner Emeritus, Donald Hecht. Donald was an icon in the accounting industry, as well as a visionary, whose advice and counsel was sought after by clients as well as a host of business leaders. He was devoted to his clients, becoming their trusted advisor.
Donald had a keen ability to quickly analyze complex situations and come up with intelligent and sensible solutions. His vast knowledge of many diverse industries was legendary. Even while running a busy accounting practice, Donald took the time to mentor others.
Donald was generous to many charitable institutions and took a personal interest in each cause. He devoted much time and effort to a host of charitable endeavors. His departure has left a gaping void in our hearts, and even after a year, he is still sorely missed.
